Refunds & returns Policy

At Modern4WD, we want you to shop with confidence. If your order isn’t right, we’re here to help. Please review our return guidelines below:


General Return Guidelines

  • Return Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all parts, accessories, and instructions included.
  • Return Authorization: All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To request an RMA, email returns@modern4wd.com with your order number and reason for return.
  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of [10-20%] may apply to certain returns (see below).
  • Return Shipping: Unless otherwise noted below, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Installed, used, or damaged items
  • Items not in original packaging
  • Custom or special-order parts
  • Electrical or electronic parts (unless defective)
  • Items returned without RMA approval

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact Us: Email returns@modern4wd.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if item is damaged or defective).
  2. Get Your RMA: We’ll send return instructions and your RMA number.
  3. Ship Your Item: Pack securely and ship using the method provided. Include the RMA number inside the package.
  4. Inspection & Refund: Returns are inspected within 3 business days of arrival. Refunds or replacements are processed promptly after inspection.

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless we shipped the wrong or defective item.
  • Allow 3–5 business days for refunds to appear after processing.
